Moon Fish and Crown Bird
The shapes on the walls of the staircase were hand painted by Sarah and inspired by a set of characters and symbols designed by young people in workshops at Sandwell CAMHS. They came up with a set of images that could be part of an infinite number of stories, including a bird that sheds its feathers as it flies, a crown that is so heavy that if you wear it you sink into the ground, and a peaceful garden with swings and unusual flowers.
